Exterior Insulation and Continuous Insulation
BC Step Code is pushing every new build toward higher effective R-values, and a re-clad is the single best moment to insulate an older home from the outside. We install continuous exterior insulation as part of an integrated cladding assembly, on multi-family and commercial projects and on Lower Mainland homes getting new siding.
What we install.
Continuous insulation systems, including mineral wool, EPS and rigid foam, installed behind cladding to support exterior performance, reduce thermal bridging and help projects meet their energy targets.
- Mineral wool batt and semi-rigid
- EPS, XPS and polyiso rigid foam
- Z-girt and thermally broken sub-framing
- Step Code-oriented assemblies
- Energy advisor coordination
- Rebate paperwork support
Project types we deliver.
Step Code Multi-Family
Wood-frame buildings targeting higher Step Code levels.
Commercial Retrofits
Existing buildings upgraded as part of a re-clad.
High-Performance Custom Homes
Residential exteriors with elevated R-value targets.
Institutional / Public
Schools, community buildings, low-rise institutional.
From bid to final walkthrough.
Assembly review
We work with your envelope consultant or energy advisor to confirm the assembly fits the target effective R-value.
Substrate prep and WRB
Air and vapour barriers and weather-resistive membranes installed and reviewed before insulation goes up.
Insulation install
Mineral wool or rigid foam fastened per spec, with sub-framing to preserve effective R-values.
Rainscreen and cladding
Strapping, ventilation gap and finished cladding completed by the same crew.
Built across British Columbia.
